Paxcroft Community Larder

Our school community recognises that families may be struggling financially due to the current cost of living crisis.

Here at Paxcroft we are Proud to Belong! With this in mind, we have set up a Paxcroft Community Larder where families can donate and collect food and basic toiletries, as needed.

We now need to stock our Paxcroft Community Larder so if you are able to help us with donations, we would be very grateful. We are hoping for donations of long life/dry foods e.g., rice, pasta, flour, sugar, cereal, tinned foods- the sort of foods that you might normally donate for Harvest Festival. We would also appreciate donations of toiletries, snacks and treats such as biscuits, crisps, popcorn and chocolate etc.

Please note that all items donated MUST be unopened, and in date.

Accessing our Paxcroft Community Larder 

Parents can donate to or collect from the Paxcroft Community Larder daily on school days between 8.30am – 4.00pm. Please note, it is your responsibility to check the ‘use by dates’ on any items you take. We have acquired a storage cabinet to use as our larder, and this is currently located outside the staff entrance, by the steps near the Slow playground.
